Jennifer Payne Taylor

In January 2024, Jen was diagnosed with de novo stage IV HER2-positive breast cancer, following the discovery of a lump in her left breast just a few months earlier. With no family history or genetic predisposition, her diagnosis was unexpected. She is undergoing treatment that will continue indefinitely, while approaching each day with strength, determination, and a focus on the things she loves most. Shortly after her diagnosis, she discovered the BAYS-MITC community. Inspired by its mission, Jen joined the board to support and advocate for fellow members of Mets in the City (MITC).

Jen is a dedicated event professional with 20 years of experience producing events across the globe. Based in San Francisco, her work has spanned corporate, nonprofit, and tech sectors.

Jen is passionate about running, hiking, weight training, yoga, travel, the San Francisco Giants & cooking. She is a devoted volunteer at Muttville Senior Dog Rescue. At home in San Francisco, she treasures life with her husband, Brian, and their rescue dogs.
