Hello there! I’m Alicia Boulware. There are several things I feel really passionate about. A few of them include being an aunt, working with foster kids as an Alameda County Court Appointed Special Advocate for Children (CASA), and I’m a social justice activist. In July of 2019, at age 30, I was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma Triple Negative Breast Cancer stage II/III. After being diagnosed, I was looking to meet people in a similar life stage with a wealth of knowledge; I found that in BAYS. My faith keeps me inspired every day. Because of the kindness others and the opportunity to help newly diagnosed folks, I stay deeply intertwined in the BAYS community.
