Ali

Former Board

Hi, I’m Ali Kent and I previously served as the President of the BAYS Board. I was diagnosed with Stage 2, Triple + Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (IDC) in March 2015 at the age of 33. My treatment consisted of chemo (TCHP), radiation, a lumpectomy, and reconstruction (implant + fat grafting). I also did five years of Lupron + AI as my hormone therapy, which I completed in August 2020. I didn’t find BAYS until I was out of active treatment and knew immediately that I had found my people from the very first post that I saw. I continue to be inspired by this amazing group every single day and am convinced that the members of BAYS could run the world.
I was born and raised in CA and have been living in San Francisco since 2009. Outside of work and BAYS, I love cooking, reading, short legged animals, reality tv, relaxing in Golden Gate Park, martinis, and spending time with family & friends. I currently live in the Inner Sunset with my husband, Matt, and our very old cat, Mimi. Fun fact about me: I was recently on an episode of the rebooted season of Supermarket Sweep. Look out for Team Spritz on the big screen when it airs in the fall of 2020!
